I used to not like these kinda challenging games because i usually play on easy or normal for most games. Still playing all of these and I'm loving them so much. Afterwards i got into Dead Cells, CotDG, Slay the Spire, Ring of Pain, One Step from Eden and now Monster Train. Hades was my first and I quickly realized how fun and interesting these kinda games can be. It's like that old school game Oregon Trail meets Slay The Spire)Īnyway, I just got into roguelites and have fallen in love with the genre. (This game is about to leave the service as of this post but I tried it and it's pretty interesting. There's a bunch more I've never heard of or played and probably more i haven't noticed like:ĭandy Ace, Boyfriend Dungeon, Atomicrops, Dicey Dungeons, Unsighted, Undertale (not really a roguelike but really interesting game)Īnd those are just the ones I know or have been playing. Hades, Dead Cells, Curse of the Dead Gods, Darkest Dungeon, Slay the Spire, Ring of Pain, Monster Train, One Step From Eden, Nuclear Throne, Enter The Gungeon, Spelunky 2, Neon Abyss, Hollow Knight, Children of Morta, Into the Pit, and It's kinda ridiculous how many TOP tier popular roguelike games they have. I've been playing them on Xbox but I think these are all on PC too. If you didn't know, Microsoft Game Pass has a POOP TON of roguelikes/lites right now as well as bullet hells/metroidvanias/dungeon crawlers etc. There are plenty of other subs for this kind of thing - take it there instead. Pornography is obscenity and historically it hasn't been considered a part of free speech. One exception: This is a safe for work subreddit, so please don't post porn games, H-games ("hentai games"), etc here.

The term "roguelike-like" or "rogue-lite" has been used to distinguish these games that possess some, but not all, of the features from those that exactly meet the roguelike definition.
